The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) offers students an extensive and specialized training program for Pastoral Ministry. The curriculum consists of core courses that impart advanced knowledge and understanding and a range of specialized courses that equip students with the practical skills required for ministry. Additionally, students have the opportunity to conduct research or undertake a ministry project on a topic of their choosing. Overall, this program aims to deepen students' understanding of Christian ministry and leadership and develop their skills for effective professional practice in this field. The Bachelor's programme follows an integrated learning pattern that combines academic learning with spiritual formation, character development, and practical engagement.

Entry Requirements:

Candidates interested in applying to study the B.Th. programme must have:

    • Completed 18 years of age at the time of application.
    • Have a definite Christian experience and call for Christian service.
    • Successfully completed the pre-University course (PUC)/ Class XII (HSC) or its equivalent or Class X and Diploma.
    • A reasonable proficiency in the English language.

This course will provide an overview of major world religions. Hinduism and Islam will receive particular focus, with students examining the relationship between culture and religion in these traditions. Special attention will be given to people living out their beliefs through ritual, artistic expression, and social conduct. Field research in the growing local multi-faith community will be included.
